our volunteer day is Wednesday 1pm to 3 pm and more activities will be added. Also we aim to go to Care Homes to engage those who are over 50 years and love gardening we will be helping them to create a garden on site and to enter each garden into Its Your Neighbourhood. Everyone who gets involved will be a part of MIddleton in Bloom.
Recently we did some face painting for the Festival of AGeing at Burnside Community Centre. In the picture above is Chloe Burke who helped us on the day. It made a change from planting, weeding and growing which is what we usually get asked to do. The event brought the younger and elderly generation together on a great day at Burnside Community Centre.
